The primary role of this position is to support the Digital Innovation and Transformation Manager's needs into actionable innovation opportunities and proactively identify, analyze, implement, execute, and control project management duties. Support all aspects of digital services (online, mobile, remote deposit, etc.) while remaining aligned with the commitments and goals of the organization.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Assist with developing best practices and tools for project execution and management; proactively assist with monitoring project scope changes, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
  • Assist with developing and defining project solutions for the evolving infrastructure, including design, development, integration, testing, migration, and deployment support functions.
  • Communicate with departments/organizations on an ongoing basis and continuously assist with project expectations with the project team and stakeholders.
  • Assist with identifying project dependencies and critical paths, as well as preparing project documentation and meeting agendas
  • Create the project's “lessons learned” document to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
  • Assist with developing and delivering progress reports, proposals, and requirements documentation and presentations.
  • Assist with analyzing current business processes and make recommendations for improvement based on industry trends and professional business knowledge.
  • Assist with the risk assessments and troubleshooting for digital services integrating with the core, online, and mobile deposit capture and upgrades, and ensure managed systems are properly audited.
  • Escalate any deficiencies or issues relating to digital services, configuration, or errors to the Digital Innovation and Transformation Manager.
  • Research, test, and implement digital upgrades and environment changes.
  • Other job-related duties as assigned.
  • Maintain knowledge of BSA Compliance training.

  • Working knowledge and understanding of financial institution operations and business processes, including technology solutions used in financial institutions' operations.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and trends.
  • Advanced verbal communication skills: the ability to articulate your thoughts and ideas and develop a point of view about your work.

Knowledge and Skills:

Experience: One to two years of similar or related experience.

Education: (1) A two-year college degree or (2) Completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school, or (3) Completion of a specialized and extensive in-house training or apprenticeship program.

Interpersonal Skills: Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. Work involves much personal contact with others inside and outside the organization for giving or obtaining information, building relationships, or soliciting cooperation.

Employees must uphold the credit union's compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and anti-money laundering policies and procedures. Specific functions with B.S.C.U. will consider the awareness of unusual or suspicious activity relevant to the department. In addition to any other assigned training courses, online B.S.A. and O.F.A.C. courses must be completed at least annually, as made available by the Training and Compliance Department. Maintains comprehensive knowledge of the Bank Secrecy Act, Customer Identification Program, U.S.A. Patriot Act, O.F.A.C., Fair Lending, and Credit Card Act.
